Britain's Southernmost Inn

Your hosts Debbie and Jason Manton offer a warm welcome to the Top House Inn, situated in the heart of Lizard Village on the Lizard Peninsula. The 200 year old Inn is the southernmost inn in the UK, and is set within walking distance of Lizard Point - mainland Britain's most southerly location.

Operated under new hands as of November 2025, complete with new chef and menu, join us to usher in a new era of stewardship! Our first change is to ensure that dogs are now most welcome (well tempered and behaved in public spaces). Bar open daily as normal - please enquire for food/availability.

Food & Dining

We serve a full menu of classic ‘Good Pub Grub’, freshly prepared by our experienced chef using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. There’s something for everyone, with vegetarian and vegan options available. If you have any allergies or special requirements, just let us know when booking and we’ll be happy to help.

Our Sunday lunches are not to be missed — hearty portions, a cosy roaring fire, and a glass of your favourite tipple… the perfect way to spend a Sunday.

We're delighted to announce that 'The Rough Cuts' - better known as Rob & Graeme, will be playing at The Top House this New Year's Eve!

All of your favourites interjected with their own unique style and humour - and even karaoke!

With the festive period well and truly upon us, here is a summary of events at the Top House this season!

Enjoy your work Xmas party at The Top House Inn with our specially crafted Christmas Menu, available from 1st to 24th December.

Christmas Day - Open for drinks from 11.30-2pm

Boxing Day - Recover gently with a bracing walk and a snack from our 'Lite Bites' special Boxing Day menu (see below)

New Year's Eve - Live music and entertainment from 9pm - 1am

New Year's Day - Enjoy a special New Year's Day Brunch from 12-5pm (see below)
