New Chef Appointed!

We're delighted to announce the appointment of Jimmy Pamflett our new Head Chef at The Top House Inn.

Jimmy may already be a familiar face to many, having been part of The Witchball’s team several years ago. Since then, he’s travelled across the South West, honing his craft with time spent at notable venues including The Globe in Topsham and The Harbour Inn, Porthleven. Along the way, he’s broadened his culinary expertise and embraced the freshest flavours the region has to offer. We’re delighted to welcome him back to The Lizard and to The Top House Inn.

We, Debbie and Jason, receive the keys to The Top House Inn on Monday 3rd November 2025 and aim to bring our combined expertise to provide an excellent pub/restaurant/accommodation experience for all visitors and locals alike!

This is us outside our pub, The New Inn at Sampford Courtenay. Having both worked most of our careers in the hospitality industry our goal is simple, to provide good beer, good food and comfortable accommodation, all with excellent, friendly customer service.

You can be assured of a warm, friendly welcome for you and your well behaved dogs - we can't wait to meet you!
